Frank Andrus, living and traveling through the South, shares with you through his artwork the simple dignity of man-made landmarks and Gods beautiful creations.
Frank's work in visual art began as a child. Since childhood he has experienced great satisfaction with each growth step, for he is self taught. He is accomplished in oils, acrylics, watercolor and pen and ink which he shares with you on this website.
Frank's work has been exhibited throughout the southeast, receiving numerous awards. You can find his work in private collections from New York to Louisiana. His art, like the man himself, is sturdy and unpretentious. Striving for realism he enjoys "Scratching"(pen and inks) in which he can express to you his love of yesterday's charm. He combines pointillism and scratching in a very personalized style. He feels that preserving some history, strength and beauty of our time is important.
While he is attracted to realism and authenticity in his subject matter he hopes you will enjoy his effort to capture where we've been and where we are today.
